Job Summary
Responsible for the safe operation of the RMC Waste Processing System, which includes processing regulated medical, solid and recycle waste. Responsible for collecting regulated medical waste, solid waste and recycle waste/materials from designated areas of the hospital and transport to the processing location.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High School Graduate or GED
Experience
Must have some computer knowledge with the ability to read printouts, computer screen and reports.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations
Must have valid driver’s license
Equipment, Tools, Work Aids
Operate trash compactor, tippers, box bailer and others . Operate the Medical Waste Autoclave Sterilization Processor
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Ability to conduct test sampling and read computer printouts. Some minor mechanical knowledge.
