Security Guard

Job Summary
Responsible for the protection of the hospital, its assets, employees, patients, visitors, and other customers of the facility.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Experience
1 year minimum military, civil police, or security required.
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations
use of 5% O.C. Mace and CPR
Equipment, Tools, Work Aids
Communication radio, telephone, monitoring camera, and alarm system
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Pass Initial/Annual fitness test includes: heavy weight lifting (70#), run/walk, timed procedural competency test, and timed ability test. Pass Initial/Annual Basic Security Office Training Series (12 modules). Have knowledge of conflict resolution skills.
