Job Summary
Provides professional nursing care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with physician’s treatment plans. **Must train to be able to work in every Dept. on 3rd floor including OB, Nursery, Peds, and Post-partum. Must be willing to work night and day shifts.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Associates Degree in Nursing
Experience
None required
Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations
Registered Nurse. PALS/ACLS/NRP certifications must be obtained within one year of employment on the unit.
Equipment, Tools, Work Aids
Office machines, computer terminal, diagnostic equipment, patient therapeutic equipment/machines, and fetal monitor equipment.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development.
